Who We Are
President's Message
Since it’s inception in 1956, the United Fund of Greater Mount Airy, now The United Fund of Surry, has been supporting our member agencies in their work to meet the needs of the community by consolidating financial resources into a single community-wide fundraising campaign. These annual campaigns have raised and distributed well over $8 million in support of our community through these member agencies.
The United Fund of Surry is volunteer-driven with over 70 people who give selflessly of their time and talents in our raising funds efforts for those in our community in need of help. From the all-volunteer Board of Directors to those involved in the yearly campaign, to those who tirelessly give during our Community Cares Day—The United Fund of Surry is about people reaching out to others. |
